Terms and Conditions:

By signing this document *All Parties agree to all terms and conditions and are agreeing to be bound by this contract under the following stipulations.

Payment:

**You are agreeing to an upfront, non-refundable deposit of $45.00 that will apply to your total invoice at the completion of agreed-upon work. The initial, non-refundable deposit of $45.00 is due before services are rendered and is considered an insurance policy for Speaking Geek LLC. (In the event that a service or repair cannot be completed by Speaking Geek LLC, no additional service charge will be accrued, unless additional software, hardware, or materials that would have been needed to complete work were already purchased by Speaking Geek LLC, in which case they will be charged additional to and not covered by the initial $45.00 deposit, and all checked in +property will be returned in as close to original form as possible.) No work orders will be accepted without this initial charge unless it has been guaranteed through a business invoicing system. All other agreed-upon services will be charged at the time of completion and will be itemized for your convenience and visibility.

All services will be rendered by a pre-set price list and if the work cannot be completed under a specified service it will be charged an hourly rate. The hourly rate is $50.00

Speaking Geek LLC maintains the right to refuse work, for any reason, during any point, before, during, or after services rendered. In the event this happens, all checked-in property will be returned in as close to their original form as possible. Our policy prohibits discrimination against Speaking Geek LLC or Clients based on age, disability, gender identity, marital status, medical condition, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, other improper basis, or specific physical characteristics.

Payment Flexibility:

Speaking Geek LLC is a family-owned and operated business, we understand that certain financial hardships and economic climates can affect your ability to pay from time to time. We are happy to work out a fair payment schedule with you, so your life is not interrupted by having your electronics out of commission. Speaking Geek LLC will maintain possession of all checked-in property until at least 51% of the service total has been paid, and a formal agreement with a timeline to pay in full has been agreed upon. If no payment arrangement can be agreed upon, or if no payment is received within 6 months of completion's date, all checked-in property (including software, hardware, or any accessories) shall be forfeit, to help recover lost profits, for completed work.

Warranty:

Data integrity cannot be guaranteed and is not bound by this agreement, however, the utmost care will be taken in handling and retrieving data depending on the services rendered. All work is backed by a free 1-time follow-up per fully paid service within 30 days after the work has been completed. Any additional follow-ups will be subject to the $45.00 initial fee and depending on the nature of the issue or cause of the issue, additional charges may apply. By agreeing you also understand that updates to the terms and conditions may happen only as needed, at any time, and with little or no notice to you.

Privacy:

We take privacy seriously, no information collected or maintained for tax records will be sold or exchanged for profit with another business. We also wish to honor your data privacy and commit to only accessing areas of your data that are pertinent and relevant to your specific service requests. This does not legally remove us from responsibility to report illegal activity.

Unscheduled Property Returns:

Speaking Geek LLC understands that certain circumstances may arise where you need your checked-in property back suddenly, or that you wish to cancel or no longer use the services of Speaking Geek LLC. Speaking Geek LLC wants you to have the best experience possible, and to provide all clientele with the same great service we ask for a minimum of 24 business hours notice before your checked-in property will be returned to you. As in accordance with our policies please see the above paragraphs for our charge policy. If we can alternatively do an expedited order for you instead please see section: Rush Orders.

Rush orders:

Not all orders can be upgraded to have a rush order status. And will be subject to Speaking Geek LLC to approve that rush request. Due to this Speaking Geek LLC will offer a discount to individuals or businesses that request a rush order upfront.

Normal Rush Order Rate:

Requests for a rush order after check-in will be subject to an additional $100.00 service fee due at completion.

Business Requests for a rush order after check-in will be subject to an additional $200.00 service fee due at completion.

Discounted Rush Order Rates:

Rush orders requested at or before check-in will be subject to an additional $50.00 service fee due at the time of service check-in.

Business Rush orders requested at or before check-in will be subject to an additional $100.00 service fee due at the time of service check-in.

Definitions:

+Property

Defined as the client(s) checked-in equipment either physical or digital or both.

*All Parties

Defined as Speaking Geek LLC, and you the client(s) who signed or is signed for by client approved party.

**You

The term “you” will be defined as the client, whose information is listed on the intake sheet, the individual(s) receiving technical services from Speaking Geek LLC.
